Pre-departure Orientation and Send-off Ceremony of Ten (10) UG Students of CAET for International Training under NAHEP-IDP at Hokkaido University, JAPAN.
Under the guidance of Dr. V. P. Chovatia, Hon’ble VC, JAU, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology under the flagship programme of NAHEP-IDP is sending 10 UG B. Tech. (Agril. Engg.) students (8 Boys and 2 Girls) for Six Weeks International Training at Hokkaido University, JAPAN to learn and get practical research knowledge in the area of Hands on training on Drone for data collection, Various sensors to collect data, use of RGB cameras, multispectral cameras, dual camera systems, LiDAR sensors, thermal sensors etc., Training to use GNSS system, green seeker, handheld GNSS system, spectro radiometer, hypsometer, NDVI meter etc. Their “Pre- departure orientation and send-off ceremony” was organized on September 29, 2023 under the presidentship of Dr. V. P. Chovatia, Hon’ble VC, JAU at VC Conference Hall, JAU, Junagadh. Director of Research and PI (NAHEP-IDP), JAU, Dr. R. B. Madariya, Principal and Dean & CO-PI (NAHEP-IDP), CAET, Dr. P. M. Chauhan, Principal and Dean, College of Horticulture, Dr. D. K. Varu, ADR and Nodal Officer (ICAR), Dr. B.D. Savaliya, Director of Student Welfare, Dr. R. M. Solanki, Director IT, Dr. K. C. Patel, HoD’s of different department of CAET i.e. Dr. T. D. Maheta, HoD, Dept. of FMPE, CAET, Dr. H. D. Rank, HoD, Dept. of SWCE, CAET, Dr. Chandegra, I/C HoD of Dept. of PFE, CAET, Prof. G. D. Gohil, Convener IDP Cell, CAET and RA from CAET and Director of Research office, JAU along with 10 UG Students of CAET, JAU remain present in the Pre-departure Orientation and Send-off Ceremony.
