Junagadh Agricultural University Signs MoU with Western Sydney University, Australia.
Junagadh Agricultural University (JAU) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Western Sydney University (WSU), Australia, to advance innovation in agriculture education& research.
The partnership includes dual bachelor’s and master’s programs in agriculture, horticulture and agricultural engineering.
Speaking on the collaboration, WSU Vice-Chancellor Professor George Williams AO stated: “Partnerships are the catalyst for change. We are deeply committed to expanding collaborations in India that advance sustainability, drive academic excellence, and foster the next generation of leaders skilled in tackling the complex issues of sustainability and agricultural advancements.”
JAU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chovatia emphasized that “this partnership highlights JAU’s unwavering commitment to fostering global collaborations that bring innovation and excellence to agriculture education and research.”
The MoU was signed by Dr. Madariya, Director of Research & Dean of Postgraduate Studies, for higher degrees, and the Articulation Agreement was signed by Dr. Ghelani, Registrar, on behalf of JAU during the visit of WSU’s delegation to India on November 11, 2024. Dr. K.C. Patel, Director (IT) played a pivotal role in coordinating and facilitating this collaboration with WSU.
This collaboration reinforces JAU’s commitment to excellence in agriculture education and global partnerships.
